Angel season 4
Angel season 4 - oh my god! I've seen up to 'Soulless' so far and ... gah. The plot twists! Awakenings! Sorry for the exclamation mark abuse, but I didn't see any of this stuff coming.
Cordy stabbed Lilah! I don't want Lilah to die because she's such a good character. Maybe it wasn't Cordy that came back at all, who had to learn how to be Cordy all over again? Maybe it was someone else-- like the ultimate evil thing that's supposed to be coming. Cordelia's little speech in Soulless (I think), where she's saying 'look into my eyes, you know it's me' -- was that a lie? Who knows. And she was there when the horny rock beast was born. Anyway, holy crap! Lorne either lied or was manipulated and now Angelus is free. I hope that Angelus doesn't stick around too long because unrelenting evil becomes, like anything unrelenting, dull. But, if Cordy's spell worked and he has a got a soul and is still evil, then things look Very Bad for Everyone.
Wesley, please, just leave it. Fred is really not your type, even if she has stared wearing makeup and doing her hair all glamorous. Her world is one where people don't have inappropriate bed partners, like evil lawyers and the son of the man you are in love with. Wesley's world is unspeakably tainted and I have the feeling that, despite everything, Fred's is not and that she has a future doing other things elsewhere. Oh, the ANGST. They just don't belong together.
Connor is too pretty. He is also an incredible brat. I don't mind that Cordelia slept with him, becauseI would've they thought they were going to die and it was comfort.
Several good points well put so far in the series, I thought. Wesley saying to Gunn, 'my throat got cut and all my friends abandoned me.' Yes, I rejoiced, because Gunn needed to hear that. Gunn saying to Fred 'you look everywhere but at me,' because-- sorry, Fred has gone back to annoying the crap out of me. But then you didn't have to snap that man's neck, Gunn. Poor Gunn.
