Brains

Flist is trying to break my brain today, again.

Good Omens fic by [livejournal.com profile] notassuch. Divine Inspiration To really appreciate it to its full you need to look at the image she links to at the bottom of the page.

[livejournal.com profile] lovelyzelda gives good brain hurt and there is the possibility threat of Care Bear/Sauron fic - hurray!

10 things I've done that you probably haven't

1. Found a ten pound note by Ken Dodd's foot and spent it at the bar.
2. Washed my hair in a bucket in the Champs de Mars in Paris.
3. Been employed as a professional origami folder
4. Stood with Johnny Morris and watched a woman wrestle with a badger (unintentionally-- the badger was trying to escape).
5. Seen a red squirrel
6. Lived in a Ford Fiesta for a month
7. Amassed a very large collection of vintage melamine
8. Sold jewellery on the harbour front in St Tropez
9. Stuck a hairpin into a live plug socket (I was quite young at the time)
10. Took acid in the National History Museum

10. Took acid in the National History Museum

Woo hoo! Might make the fossils more interesting, I suppose.

We went to see the new animated dinosaur exhibition, and then the giant insects!

To this day I still feel slightly odd whenever I go there.

The first link needs fixing. Also, BWAH HA HA HA HA.

A Ford Fiesta's a rather small car, isn't it?

Yes - I lived in a small hatchback. Luckily it was high summer so I could sleep outside most of the time.

Wow.

5. Seen a red squirrel

But have you seen a black squirrel?

[identity profile] louiselux.livejournal.com 2005-02-25 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't-- just the red and the grey kind, sadly.

Did 5 too. On more than one occasion :P

Red squirrels aren't quite to rare as I thought, but it's good to know that!

Five made me giggle, because I live in a red squirrel reserve.

And number ten is fantastic. *giggle*

I live in a red squirrel reserve.

Good grief, really?! You lucky person:D

Ah, but have you lived in Ken Dodd's foot, stuck a hairpin in a badger and washed your hair in acid, for a whole month, at the same time? ;)

[identity profile] louiselux.livejournal.com 2005-02-25 12:08 pm (UTC)(link)
No, but it's tempting to give it a go :D:D

Done #5, have always really wanted to do #9 but with a fork(I think there's something wrong with me), and as for #10...wow. Looks like I'm going to be hard pressed to think of things my crazy f-list hasn't done...

[identity profile] louiselux.livejournal.com 2005-02-25 12:12 pm (UTC)(link)
The electric shock made the TV go funny and made my arm *really* hurt, but I was okay. I never did tell my parents, even though they were in the same room at the time.

This list only makes me appear interesting, I'm really very boring indeed!

I have done #5, but then I live in Northumberland so it's not hard, but have you seen a field with 3 deer in, numerous bunnies, one badger, two robins, a hare, and seen two deer jump over a fence all in one day?

And I went to see Ken Dodd, but he was so boring that I left in the middle.
