con and ow

Ow, my throat hurts. Ow owwww.  It's either tonsilitis or a throat infection, but one side is all red and swollen. Am off to doctor's to get it poked at.

I loved connotations, and have succumbed to daegaer's MASSIVE Weiss Kreuz pimpage. Well, okay, I suggested watching one episode and then four hours and several missed panels later we were emerging from the TV room blurry eyed and I was seriously craving Aya/Crawford. I stayed up late last night and just had to watch about 5 more episodes. Will do a proper con report later, when things (ie, me) are less blurry.

Ugh, the doctor diagnosed pharyngitis. Am in a world of salt gargles and throat sprays, but the plus side is that gives me the perfect excuse to not go to work and to lie on the settee watching Weiss Kreuz, oh yes.
