Good Omens drabble for Ckj

[livejournal.com profile] ckj1701, this is for you:

Rocket Man

Outside in the frozen blue the jet engines were glowing red: they screamed, tearing the air apart. The stewardess smiled at him, staggering with exhaustion. The soft chink of ice in his glass spoke of luxury and comfort, things he valued.

A brilliant orange sunset spilled over new expanses of desert, seas higher and wider than ever. Shrinking pools of green forest blackened as the moon rose.

Eyes squeezed tight, Crowley wished hard for him to be waiting at the gate, a flower in his buttonhole.

Flying over the channel, the chalk Downs and then into London.  Aziraphale wasn't there.
enigel: Aziraphale shielding Crawly under his wing (Aziraphale fairly happy (me))

Oh, so sad! Crowley is used to have his wishes fulfilled... But I'm sure Aziraphale was on a really important and holy mission, right?

Thank you!

I'm not so sure about the important and holy mission, myself!

Thank you, that's very very sad, and very very well-written.

*cuddles poor lonely Crowley*

Now I feel mean for torturing him. Well, not so mean that I'll stop:)

Thank you - I'm very glad you liked this!

That's so sad. Poor Crowley.

Thank you!

I should stop the Crowley torture and let him be happy for a bit.

Came here from your Fanfic Year in Review and wow...I'm ashamed I haven't commented on this before.

Poor Crowley. Aziraphale's probably reading his books or still doing the crossword, the bastard.
