Cygny drabble

After the end

Afterwards, the news programmes featured less war and pollution and famine, but, oddly, just as much death.

Aziraphale forgot to not sell books. Crowley forgot to loathe himself so much.

Life went on as before.

If there was more laughter and they chose to spend more time together, it wasn't mentioned. Crowley bought things for his flat and it became more homely, but they didn't speak of it. If the Arrangement took on new meanings, no one said anything.

If there was a change, it seemed as gradual as the rolling seasons, and neither remembered it being any other way.

That was a lovely way to wake up, thank you. I love the last line just to pieces.

Oooh, thank you so much!!! This is wonderful. So many things aren't said between them and yet they seem to understand each other without all those unnecessary words! And yet this implies that they are closer than ever before and more human as well. So beautiful.

I like to think that they carried on as normal after the end, but that Adam arranged things so that they were happier-- more innocent in a way, I suppose.

I'm very glad you enjoyed this!

Aww! I need more things in my day that make me say "Aww." Thank you!

Hey, thanks:) I'm very happy to provoke an "aww" now and then.

That was really...well, I was going to say 'beautiful' but I'm already using that word everywhere, so I'll just say...that was really lovely. I actually read every word with care, something I too often forget to do whilst reading drabbles, and I really loved it. The drabble gradually filled me with warm feeling and left me content. Very good :)

This was very... hmm, how to say it. It was a wonderful way to start out a day. Yes. :)

Aw, thanks:)

I always thought Adam would make sure they had a happy ending.

Glad you liked this!
