Where and when did you first hear my name/see my work/meet me? with what people/series/groups etc. do you associate me and my writing? This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.

I think first on

daegaer's journal, as she rec'd your Good Omens stories. Then I joined

lower_tadfield, at least in part because you were writing there, and then - I think I friended you, rather than vice versa? It was only a few months ago. (According to Joule (http://marnanel.org/joule), it was 7th September 2003.)

I think I asked you if I could friend you, as you were friends only, mostly because I liked the comments you used to leave in Daegaer's journal.

I first heard of you through GO fandom. As I recall, I read a few stories on Crowleys Angels, found

lower_tadfield, saw you recced several times, and ended up here. I read archived fics, went through a few entries, found you were a Thief slasher, and added to friends list.

I think I first "met" you via Time Under Glass at the SSFF. I don't remember when I friended your lj or vice versa. And for some reason I associate you with

ellen_fremedon - hmm, she beta'ed for you, didn't she, and I guess that's enough to make a mental association. I also associate you with

lexin probably because you're both English and have pseudonyms beginning with L that have X's in.

And yes, Ellen's beta'd for me quite a few times - all my SS/RL stories. By *all*, I mean both.

I remember searching frantically for GO fic, and finding your gear. I also knew you had an LJ, but I didn't friend you until you linked the "Obscure Fandom Secret Santa Project" archive.

I re-read your fic, and I friended you immediately after that. ^__^ Woohoo!

GO -- and probably either seeing your name on friendsfriends, or when I joined lower_tadfield. I am pretty sure that either finding you led to discovering lower_tadfield, or vice versa, but I honestly can't remember exactly which! I think you came first though!

I don't really remember where I found you - I'm thinking it was probably the SSFF. I saw you around LJ, and liked what I saw, and eventually got around to friending you (after I got over the "I should really only friend few people, so the LJ thing won't get out of hand" phase)

I went through that stage as well. I don't think I had more than 50 people on my flist for ages and ages. But then there were too many interesting people.

I think of you as "the person on my flist who knows all about Good Omens." :D And after I finally got around to reading that book, and wanted to check out some fic, I followed some links from your journal and they led me to some interesting stuff, just for a quick dabble in that fandom. Must get around to reading some more - well, one day.

I think I used to get you confused with McAmy, until I started to read your journal through friends of friends and realised that you were totally unique:D I'm sure I saw you first through either Luthien or Mckay's (another Mac!) old journal, Chocolate frog.

I think I encountered your LJ on a friendsfriends trawl, around the same time as I encountered daegar, afrai and foreverdirt, so it would have been shortly after friending carmarthen.

I tend to associate you with Good Omens, probably because I associate all of that bunch with Good Omens. (Apart from Katy, who I now associate with insane giggling, dancing, Batman and Neil Gaiman's underwear.)

I think you added me, but I might have noticed your writing before that. I associate you with Good Omens (and omgheartNeil!) though on my current HP kick I've just reread your HP fics (and was killed thoroughly by Dobby's kindness and devotion), so consider yourself added to the long list of writers to whom I owe decent feedback.

I can't remember exactly where I first saw your name. Possibly on a ML soon after I got involved with HP fandom? I know you were amongst the first dozen or so people on my LJ friends list, back when a friends list of thirty seemed impossibly large. You also had a recs page back before there were all that many of them in this corner of the fandom, and that might be where I first 'found' you. You listed about two Snape/Harry stories as "the only stories featuring this pairing which actually work" (or something along those lines.) I heaved a huge sigh of relief when you added one of my Snape/Harry stories to your list. *g*

Compulsion is a great story. I really liked the age difference between them and Snape's inner misery. And it's good to know that someone was reading my recs!

I remember those days! I think I first saw your name on the Snapeslash ML, and that must've been about 2 years ago. You were clearly one of the bold and the brave and always made intelligent posts.

therealjae's "Secrets" challenge was on, and you wrote Flowers of Earth, which I adored (and still do).

I'm pretty sure it was through Flowers of Earth. I think I'd read your stuff on hobbies odd and was totally thrilled when you said you liked my story.

Oh, yes. Was that Shattered? I still love that story. I remember seeing you in

lower_tadfield and adding you because I wanted to read keep track of anything else you might write.

I, too, first read your fics in

lower_tadfield (which I was originally linked to by

minkhollow, and she came to me via

afrai), and friended you because of them and also because I saw you comment often in

daegaer's journal. Good Omens brings people togeeeether! :D
