Yep, yep, what everyone else says is true. Muscle weighs more than fat anyway, so when you lose fat and gain muscle, you probably won't notice any change in your weight. The best measures of lost weight are the 'old jeans' test, where you check to see if you can fit into clothes you couldn't before, and the 'jiggle test' someone else mentioned. I've been trying to walk on the treadmill regularly, and while I haven't lost any weight according to the scales, I have more stamina and my butt is less wiggly when I jump up and down. XD So I know something's working, no matter what the scale tells me!
