brandnewgun wanted Aziraphale and Crowley playing scrabble.


Scrabble Night


'F, E ... '

Aziraphale bent over the board, his fingers working each small plastic tile precisely into place, lined up alongside its neighbour.

'L, L ... '

Each word enunciated with agonising slowness. Crowley tapped his pen against the score pad.

'A, T, I ... '

The tiles spanned a triple word score and a double letter score, but thankfully only on the T not the F, plus the angel was due the bonus for using up all seven of his letters. 86 altogether.

'Fellatio!' Aziraphale cried happily.

Crowley raised his eyebrows and smiled.

'Well, if you insist.'
